Columbia City , the epicenter of her childhood . The first place she spoke spanish at the local restaurant , the first place she tried Injera , and doro wot  ,the first place she had a cup of coffee at the local Starbucks , where the Nora Jones album always managed to play rain or sunshine softly in the background. The city in the spring is covered with cherry blossoms  planted to remind those who come in , of the diverse population that cultivated the city , specifically the Japanese culture  . The coffee could be smelled a mile away down or up the street . The Neighborhood hub , along with Tutta-bella's and Geraldines just down the way . The coffee always stuck out to tell the story of who people were really coming to see . Columbia city is a city cultivated by community and coffee , just the way everyone likes it .
